Communication/Birthdays/Absences

Alternate Pickup

• If your child is going to be taking an alternate bus home or if you plan on picking your child up, please write a note to the office and send it to school with your child.  Failure to do so creates many "behind the scenes" disruptions to the learning. 

Birthday Treats

• Birthday treats are optional. If you choose to send treats in, please communicate that you are doing so, and drop off treat in the office. We will fit it in sometime throughout the day. We encourage prepackaged items. If you send in a birthday cookie/cake, it must be precut for 20 students.

Absence

• If a child is sick, for one day, they may get any missed work on the following day. They will be given extra time to complete missed work. 
• If a child misses school due to vacation,  materials for missed lessons will be compiled and they may collect them once they return to school. Parents will need to assist the child in making up any missed work. Students will be responsible to take any scheduled tests even if they missed the lessons.
